This MIT Museum catalog card depicts Ghanaian graduate students Anthony Kobina Amos SM '62 of Saltpond and Herbert Nee Osai Quao SM '63 of Accra as they discuss their work in design and analysis of structures in a civil engineering laboratory, 1962-63. The photos were taken by the MIT News Office for the United States Information Agency (USIA), a public diplomacy program formed in 1953 and dissolved in 1999.
