The Massachusetts Institute of Technology: A Place for Women brochure was developed in honor of the 100th anniversary of the graduation of Ellen Swallow Richards (Class of 1873), the first woman admitted to MIT. Created as a UROP project and supervised by Anne Thompson '69, a former philosophy student at MIT, the brochure is part of the MIT Libraries Women Scientists and Engineers Oral History Collection.
