This image by photographer and software engineer Clinton Blackburn '08 (Computer Science and Engineering) was selected as a Slice of MIT "Photo of the Week," 1 July 2017.

The United States Supreme Court Building was designed by architect and MIT alum Cass Gilbert, who enrolled in the MIT architecture program in 1878. Located at 1 First Street, NE in Washington, D.C., the building was Gilbert's last major project before his death in 1934.
