This Ebony magazine article announces that James Carmichael Evans, Jr. '63, SM '64, EE '67, PhD '7 was elected first black president of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity's Boston chapter at MIT. Includes photos of Evans, an electrical engineering major, on the MIT campus. He is the son of James Carmichael Evans '26.
